Recession Barbie, with her best actress in a supporting role award in Fashion! Accolades continue to be showered on Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra as the duo were named as Best Actor and Actress for their performances in Jodha Akbar and Fashion at the 4th Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild awards 2008 held in Mumbai on December 6.
Actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan was adjudged best director for Taare Zameen Par, with the movie also being named as the best film of 2008.
British actor Ben Kingsley was the star attraction at the awards ceremony held at a surburban hotel in the city on Friday. The awards ceremony could not take place last year due to the 26/11 terror attacks.
Other winners included - Anil Kapoor (Best Performance in a Comic Role, Welcome), Akshaye Khanna (Best Performance in a Negative Role Race), Kangana Ranaut (Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Fashion), Jimmy Shergill (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Mugdha Godse, winner of the Best Female Debut award for her role in Fashion!
