The sultry Kashmera Shah, who played Ranbir Kapoor's sexy neighbour in Wake Up Sid, claims she and Bipasha Basu are responsible for making dark skin popular. She says: “When I entered films, I was dark yet considered hot and sexy. In my second film, Raj Sippy specially had a song written for me — ‘Sanvli haseena'. Then, Bipasha came into the industry. Gradually, all the fair heroines disappeared and darker heroines started coming to the forefront. People realised that dark is sensuous and beautiful. I think Bipasha and I are responsible for bringing about this change.”
