After playing the hero's best friend's love interest in Gundejari Gallanthayyinde, Isha Talwar is back. This time as the main love interest of the protagonist Pradeep in Maine Pyar Kiya, a romantic entertainer. The actress assures, "It's a complete romantic film that's sure to leave the audience feeling all mushy inside." It is quite different from the kind of films she's done in Malayalam where she's "experimented with roles like an air hostess, a mother, a post-woman," to name a few.

"It's great to get to try different kind of roles in Mollywood," says the petite actress, who is playing Shalini, who happens to be a childhood friend of Naveen Chintapandu played by Pradeep. "When sparks begin to fly between them, it comes with some inherent awkwardness.

Discovering that you are in love with your childhood pal can be very bizarre. It is weird to fall in love with a childhood buddy isn't it? You're not supposed to fall in love ideally and it's very confusing and a lot of us would have gone through that confusion... it's really a fine line and that's something that many will identify with," says Isha who admittedly hasn't ever faced that situation for real. "Never!" she says emphatically.

However, the actress reckons the real romance to watch out for in the movie is between Pradeep and Posani Krishna Murali. "Seriously, I'm not kidding. Posani is truly madly in love with him. You have to watch it to find out," says the actress who seems to have developed quite a liking for Hyderabadi food in particular.

Interestingly, it isn't the dum biryani that's her favourite pick. "I don't like the Biryani really. I love chutneys, button idly, pesarattu, podi, rasam... and gongura pickle, I just love it so much, I could marry the man who invented it," shares Isha who reckons "Hyderabad wins hands down when it comes to food in all of South India."

For a Punjabi raised in Mumbai, she seems to have fitted in quite well in the Malayalam industry. "Living in Mumbai you get to meet everybody from everywhere, so really don't have any problems fitting in anywhere," says Isha who happened to land in cinema by fluke.

Even as she was studying Economics at Xavier's College she'd begun modelling and had done over 40 campaigns when one of them landed her a chance to act in Thattathin Marayathu. "Jomon T John, the director of a fairness cream commercial that I did, was working as the cameraman for the movie, and he recommended me. So, yes I was trying to sell fairness cream and became an actress.We have to sell our soul in this industry sometimes," she jokes.

Isha shot to fame playing a traditional Muslim girl, Aisha. The movie went on to be a hit and she was slotted as pretty face to look out for. Though she's acted in nine films, she is hoping to make a name for herself as an actress of class. "I like the fact that people think I'm pretty, love the recognition and fame that my work has brought me...I have over 2 million fans on social media and, it's bizarre! But I love it. Hopefully when people are done with the pretty side of me, I hope do some real acting...I definitely want to be an actor someday," she says.

Comedian Lollu Sabha Balaji Passes Away

Comedian Lollu Sabha Balaji who is known for his hit comedy shows ‘Lollu Sabha’ in Vijay TV and ‘Super 10′ show in Sun TV passed away on 7th Marth in a private hospital in Anagaputthur, near Chennai. He was 43 and is surivived by his wife and 3 children.. Balaji who had been suffering from jaundice from quite some time now, was apparently admitted in hospital after his health condition was deteriorated.He was put on the ventilator but succumbed to his illness. He breathed his last at 2 AM.

He was the one who introduced comedian Santhanam to the director of Lollu Sabha and both the actors shot to fame with the same show. Balaji has acted in comedic roles in several movies like Silambattam and Dindigul Sarathy. He is also credited with writing dialogues for Shiva starrer “Thillu Mullu”, released in 2013.

'Lollu Sabha' was a television comedy series which was broadcast on STAR Vijay. Each episode of the series was a spoof of a Tamil feature film or television show. The show garnered critical acclaim. Comedy actor santhanam is widely considered one of the best finds of the show.

Small screen actor Rithvik Dhanjani went down on his knees and poured his heart out to his girlfriend, actress Asha Negi on a public platform.

Director Kiran Rao talks about her relationship with husband Aamir Khan on Koffee With Karan Superstar Aamir Khan's director wife Kiran Rao finds it difficult to stay with a person who is a public figure. In the upcoming episode of 'Koffee with Karan', Karan asks Aamir whether he is easy to live with to which the latter replies in affirmative. However, Kiran, accompanying her husband on the show, has a different viewpoint.

"It is difficult to live with a person who has this huge life around him. It is not a normal life by any standard. I have lived a very normal life up until I came around Aamir," Kiran said. Karan further probes her about the adjustments she made to marry him and if it took a toll on her. "It did. It was difficult. I had never been in a long term, sort of serious, intense relationship. Marathi Actor Vinay Apte Dies at 62

Popular Marathi actor Vinay Apte, known for his roles in movies like Jogwa, Satyagraha and Aarakshan, died at a city hospital today at the age of 62.

"Mr Vinay Apte was admitted to the hospital yesterday at 8.24 pm. He died today at 5.45 pm. The cause of his death is multiple organ failure and secondary to acute coronary syndrome," Dr Ram Narain, COO of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.

Apte worked both in films and on television. He has acted in television serials like Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Adalat" and in the Marathi soap Durva.

Dharmavarapu Subramanyam Died

Dharmavarapu Subramanyam was born in a Telugu family in Komminenivari Palem, Ballikuruva Mandalam, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He died on December 7th at his home in Dilshuk Nagar, Hyderabad in 2013.

Kushal Calls Armaan a Cheater

Every week, Bigg Boss is fueled with fights and disputes and this week seems to be no different. The luxury budget task, Bigg Boss Ki Toy Factory will bring to the forefront major differences that exist amongst the Bigg Boss contestants.

While on the one hand is Armaan's team comprising of Tanisha, Sangram and Andy who give their best shot in order to meet the targets which have been set by Bigg Boss, on the other hand is Sofia's team which includes Kamya, Kushal and Ajaz suffer setbacks owing to some lazy team members. After Bigg Boss announces the first production order of 50 soft toys to both teams, it results in a series of conflicts that hamper their overall productivity.

The first fight erupts between Kushal and Sofia when Kushal doubts Sofia's proficiency at leading the team thereby making Kushal step back from contributing towards the task. Later in the day, Armaan and Kushal have an argument over the quality of soft toys that Sofia's team has been producing. Further, Kushal calls Armaan a cheater that leads to a big fight between the two where they call each other names and insult each other on a personal level. Since the task is being carried out in the Garden Area, the heat soon gets unbearable for the contestants. Kushal and Ajaz decide to boycott the task and move back inside the house. This worries Kamya because their team will be unable to achieve their goals if they work at half capacity. She tells Ajaz to continue with the task. However, he refuses. Seeing the behaviour of their teams, Sofia and Armaan join hands and decide to approve all the toys.

Things further get ugly when both the teams fail to meet their preliminary targets within the given frame which leads to further friction between them. Ajaz and Armaan resort to snatching raw materials from each other's grasps to meet their production line requirements. Gauahar catches sight of Ajaz and Armaan's brash attitude and intervenes immediately. However, the arguments and spats continue all through the night as the task gets more intense and targets get tougher. Will the housemates will able to make peace and accomplish the task or suffer a major setback in the luxury budget this week?

It was worth the wait. After much attempt, Karan Johar finally managed to get Slaman Khan on his chat show 'Koffee With Karan' and it turned out to be a cracker of an episode. The actor spoke about his love life, his impending marriage and stated that he is a 48 year old virgin. Yes. Tongue-firmly-in-cheek, the actor stated that whoever he dated were just 'good friends' and how he is "saving himself" for that someone special who he will get married to. A very amused Karan Johar asked why he hasn't he got married to which Salman answered that with some of his exes he was very close to getting married till the women got a cold feet. The actor revealed that his wedding with actress Sangeeta Bijlani was called off at the last moment and that the date was fixed and cards had been printed.

The actor said he enjoyed sleeping alone and loved his single hood a lot. Salman also candidly mentioned that he possibly is the laziest actor among his contemporaries and appreciated Shah Rukh, Aamir and Akshay Kumar's hard work and sincerity. He prefers to spend most of his time in a gym," she added. British actress-singer Sofia Hayat, who has recently entered the "Bigg Boss-Saath 7" house, says that she is happy to be a part of the show here rather than its international leg, "Big Brother" in England. "I am happy to be a part of the show here. In England, it is more hard core...I want to try and experience everything. Being in the 'Bigg Boss' house is a different experience to take on," Sofia told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai. The actress has entered the show with the sole intention of winning but wants to enjoy the process as well. "I want to win the show, who doesn't want to. But I also feel that the main thing is to enjoy the experience. It is an experience which I will never have again in my life," she said.

Sophia also hosted reality show "Superdude". She was initially placed in the new caravan section of the house, along with inmate VJ Andy, but has now joined the main house.

The rest of the inmates who have survived the show till now include Arman Kohli, Tanisha Mukherji, Pratyusha Banerjee, Elli Avram, Apoorva Agnihotri, Kamya Punjabi, Sangram Singh and Gauhar Khan. Contestants Ajaz Khan and Candy Brar also recently entered the house.
