P Jayachandran Complains Against Jeethu Joseph

ADGP TP Senkumar was the first person to speak against the movie Drishyam, complaining that the movie shares a wrong message of hiding a truth. He said that people should not try to face the situation when someone blackmails you, instead one should immediately approach the police help. Now, P Jayachandran is the latest to make a complaint against the director of the film Jeethu Joseph. Jayachandran, who is one of the most prominent singers in the industry, has come forward stating a complaint against Jeethu Joseph. Jayachandran says that he had sung one song for the movie Drishyam, which is one of the biggest hit of the year 2013. But, when the movie got released, Jayachandran said that the movie did not had the version of the song he had sung but, it had someone else's voice.

Jayachandran complains that Jeethu Jospeh never informed him about this change and added that he never expected that Jeethu will do such a thing to him. The singer remembers that a similar incident had occured with him in the 90's. He said that he has experienced many such bitter experiences in his life. The latest hit track sung by Jayachandran is for the movie 1983. 'Olenjali kuruvi...' has been sung by Jayachandran along with another prominent female singer Vani Jayaram. Nivin Pauly and Nikki Galrani have been featured in this nostalgic song.

Swapaanam - Movie Review - Only For Class Movie Lovers

Shaji N Karun, well known for top class movies, is back with his latest movie Swapaanam, with Jayaram doing the lead role of a Chenda artist. The movie, like his earlier flicks, is also a slow paced one backed with some good performances and some excellent music and visuals. Story The story of Swapaanam deals with the life of Unnikrishnan (Jayaram), hailing from a family of Chenda artists. During the childhood itself, Unnikrishnan suffers mental problem followed by an accident. Growing up, Unnikrishnan also becomes a chenda artist like his brothers Achyuthan (PD Namboothiri) and Kuttan (Udayan Namboothiri) and joins them for Chenda Melam's in various festivals. Experiencing some difficulties in the beginning, Unnikrishnan slowly gains popularity in festivals. Being impressed with his expertise, Raman Marar asks Unni to marry his daughter Kalyani (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy). Kalyani is in love with their driver Prakashan (Sarath).

However, Unni and Kalyani get married, but Kalyani faces several difficulties in married life due to the abnormal behaviour of Unnikrishnan and runs away with Prakashan. Unnikrishnan while on a visit to Narayanan Namboothiri (Siddique), gets close to Nalini (Kadambari), sister of Narayanan and a Mohiniyattam artist. Their relation gets intense till Narayanan gets to know about the same. Unnikrishnan, with the help of his mother (Ashwini Ranga) consults Pookkaattiri Thirumeni (Suresh Kurup) for healing his mental illness. During this, Narayanan arranges marriage of Kalyani with Thuppan Namboothiri (Vineeth), and Kalyani had to agree without any choice. After their marriage Kalyani gets to know that Thuppan Namboothiri is sort of a transgender and doesn't like anyone even to touch him. Rest of the movie deals with the stressful lives of Unnikrishnan and Kadambari trying to cope up with their situations. Performances Jayaram as Unnikrishnan have portrayed the role to near perfection. Though the role can't be termed as his career best, he has essayed the expressions of abnormality quite well. Kadambari as Nalini is good with her role, but could have improved better on the dubbing portions. Surprise package of the movie is the character by Siddiue as Narayanan Namboothiri.

The role was challenging for the actor and he has done full justice to it. Vineeth as Thuppan Namboothiri is another pick among actors. Rest of the actors including Sarath, Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Indrans (Selvan), Aswini Ranga, PD Namboothiri, Udayan Namboothiri and all others have done their part well. Technical Aspects Cinematography by Saji Nair is excellent. Be it the dark mood, beautiful scenarios, or close-up frames of actors, he has managed to capture almost everything with brilliance. Songs composed by Sreevalsan J Menon controls the movie throughout. There are many songs included in the movie which are pleasing to the ears. BGM by Issac Thomas Kootukapally is also appealing to the ears and blends well with mood of the movie. Makeup by Pattanam Rasheed deserves a special mention. He has managed the section exceptionally well which can be seen on the screens in make overs of lead actors. With all these positives, Swapaanam is not devoid of flaws. The script seems to confuse as the narrative is sort of mixed between flashback and present. The movie requires some patience to sit throughout its 150 minutes. The length of the movie could have been trimmed for a better acceptance among common people. Verdict On the whole, Swapaanam is a winner for class movie lovers. If you are ready to watch some wonderful performances and have some patience, the movie won't disappoint you.

The 48-year-old Jai Ho star, who was at his funniest best at an event last evening, did not rule out the chances of marrying Romanian beauty lulia Vantur, whom he is allegedly dating for quite sometime. "Now I'm in transit period and I like it. From the age of 15, I did not get a transit period. For the first time, I have such a chance to sigh. I am sighing more since it has been two-and-a-half years. It's time to stop sighing because something soon will happen in my life..."I follow humanity. I follow Islam, Christianity, and follow right thing as much I can. I have been kind of blessed. Father is Pathan, mother is Hindu, second mother is catholic, and brother-in-law is Punjabi. The actor also thanked his parents -- father Salim Khan and mothers Sushila Charak Khan and Helen -- for being with him at his worst times. "No child would have given them as may problems. I was a naughty kid. They had to hear slanderous things about their son from others -- the jail episodes, the cases that have come. If these things would not have come, my father and mother would have looked as young as I look now," he said.

Comedian Lollu Sabha Balaji Passes Away

Comedian Lollu Sabha Balaji who is known for his hit comedy shows ‘Lollu Sabha’ in Vijay TV and ‘Super 10′ show in Sun TV passed away on 7th Marth in a private hospital in Anagaputthur, near Chennai. He was 43 and is surivived by his wife and 3 children.. Balaji who had been suffering from jaundice from quite some time now, was apparently admitted in hospital after his health condition was deteriorated.He was put on the ventilator but succumbed to his illness. He breathed his last at 2 AM.

He was the one who introduced comedian Santhanam to the director of Lollu Sabha and both the actors shot to fame with the same show. Balaji has acted in comedic roles in several movies like Silambattam and Dindigul Sarathy. He is also credited with writing dialogues for Shiva starrer “Thillu Mullu”, released in 2013.

'Lollu Sabha' was a television comedy series which was broadcast on STAR Vijay. Each episode of the series was a spoof of a Tamil feature film or television show. The show garnered critical acclaim. Comedy actor santhanam is widely considered one of the best finds of the show.

Sajid Nadiadwala Is Super Happy That Highway Becomes A Super Hit

Sajid Nadiadwala is a very happy man with Imtiaz Ali's Highway turning out to be a super hit and profitable for all stakeholders. The Alia Bhatt-Randeep Hooda starrer, presented by Sajid was made at a cost of Rs 18.25 crores (including P&A). The movie has already clocked more than Rs 27 crores at the Indian box office and and is still running successfully across theatres. What is even more incredible is that the film has garnered this collection from just 800 screens where it was released. That apart, the film had made Rs 15.5 crores revenue even before release and the international theatrical collection is more than Rs 8 crores till date and still counting, making the total revenue pie more than 50 crores.

Says Sajid: "It was both an honour and a challenge when Imtiaz entrusted me with the big responsibility of Highway's release. We worked with our distribution partners at UTV to give the film an appropriate release across 800 screens with carefully selected cities and cinemas across the country." The film, with Anil Mehta's unmatched cinematography and A.R. Rahman's unforgettable music, has created a very strong word of mouth wave in the audience all over.
